I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2012. I have worked in a variety of community mental health settings, including at a state psychiatric hospital and in a parenting program at a women’s prison. Prior to starting my private practice in 2018, I was in charge of an 11-bed residential program for women transitioning out of prison called Northern Lights.
I’ve completed post-graduate training in Bowen Family Systems Theory at The Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Washington, D.C. and at the Vermont Center for Family Studies. I have given presentations on gender transition and the family and other topics related to Bowen Theory, and currently serve as faculty at the Vermont Center for Family Studies.
I live in Vermont with my partner, dogs, and cat. Outside of this I can be found playing basketball, field hockey, cross country skiing or spending time with friends and family.
